Make Time for Moonlit Reflections during the Strawberry Moon

Reflections During the Strawberry Moon

This full moon is a sweet one. Known as the Strawberry Moon in North America, the Lotus Moon in China, the Rose Moon across parts of Europe, and the Dyad Moon to pagans, it arrives during the warm summer nights in June like a ripe piece of fruit: blushing, full, and ready to be picked. 🍓

And this moon's got some weight to her. Not heavy like a burden - more like your arms full of flowers, full of fruit, full of the rewards you've earned. She's giving culmination. You know, that part of the story where the pieces finally click into place.

If new moons are for planting seeds, then this full moon is where we pause, see what's bloomed, and give thanks for all that's taken root, even if it didn't grow quite how we expected.

This moon doesn't ask much of you. Just that you show up for yourself and notice what's grown. This is true abundance - the kind that only comes from real effort, steady tending, and the grace of letting things unfold.

So here's what we're doing:

- Start with a shower, but not just to cleanse - this is for softening. Let the steam open you up, let the water rinse off the dust from all that work you've been doing. You don't have to scrub or rush. Let this be a little sacred. Light a candle nearby if you'd like, put on some favorite soothing tunes. Let the steam rise like a cloud, enveloping you in safety. Let yourself arrive in your body like you've come home from a long journey.

- Afterward, find your altar or a quiet corner. Somewhere you can sit with yourself uninterrupted. Anoint a candle with Lunar Oil, or hold an intuitive crystal like Merlinite in your hands - all with the intention of witnessing your successes. Let this small act mark the moment: I am ready to acknowledge my own growth.

- Then, pull out your journal or your favorite deck. Don't ask what's next, ask what has ripened. What have you made space for in your life that wasn't there before? Where are the fruits of your labor blooming?

You might pull a tarot card or two to help frame your reflections. You might use a pendulum to sit with yes/no questions about what you're ready to receive. But don't go digging. This moon is about trusting what's already rising to the surface.

- Write down what you're proud of. Say it out loud if you want. You've done more than you realize, and you are allowed to receive it.

When you're ready, close the ritual by thanking yourself for showing up, for doing the work no one saw, and for growing through what you didn't think you could. Sit in the glow of that truth a little longer than you think you need.

Browse our website, you'll find any ritual tools you need to support you this moon - if you want something to reflect with, something to dress your candle, something to write it all down. We'll be right here, celebrating with you. And as always, if you need guidance, you know where to find us.
