Finally! Longer matches to make it easier to light candles! Most "long" safety matches are 4 inches long - these are 5 inches. Turns out that 1 inch makes a world of difference to your knuckles and fingers when reaching into a jar to light or re-light a beloved candle.
As with matchboxes of old, as much attention has gone into the quality of the box, as the matches themselves.
This pack is created in a collaboration with artist Sophy Hollington the creator of our gorgeous Tarot Candles. Sophy is a British artist and illustrator living in rural East Sussex. Not being one to cut corners, most of her work is created using the lengthly relief printmaking process of linocutting. She uses arcane and folkloric forms to create intricate, symbolically rich compositions which evoke both ancient objects and futuristic visions.
