The Costae Ring features a brass casting of a genuine Moroccan Cyclolite — a free-living Scleractinian coral that once rested on loose sediment on the ocean floor during the Cretaceous period, somewhere between 65 and 145 million years ago. It was cast into brass, set by hand into sterling silver, and now it's a ring. Geological timescales are wild.
