Meet the shapeshifting trickster of Norse mythology through stories that embrace his contradictions. Loki brings together ancient tales and contemporary fiction, exploring a figure who moves between ally and adversary, disruption and possibility.
Loki's tangled relationships with Odin, Thor, and the other Aesir offer fertile ground for this anthology's imaginative retellings. An introductory essay by Matt Ralphs and a foreword by Dr Tom Birkett provide context for the mythology, while new stories selected through open submissions offer fresh perspectives on an enduring character. Keep it on your folklore shelf for evenings when you want a story that refuses a simple hero or villain.
